But God…

I was molested by someone I trusted, but God…

I could have turned my back on God when my best friend was killed in a car accident when we were 20, but God…

I was almost raped and was abused by putting myself in bad situations, but God…

I could have died or killed someone else when I was drinking, but God…

I could have given up when an employer abruptly fired me for no reason, but God…

I could have been a single mom when I got pregnant out of wedlock, but God…

We could have lost our house due to bad financial decisions, but God…

I could have died giving birth to my third child, but God…

I could have given up on God and His people after working in a church and learning that they are just people, too, but God…

I could have committed suicide, but God…

I could have lost my passion for life, but God…

I could have forgotten my dreams, but God.

But God was always there to catch me, save me, guide me, love me, and surround me with His presence and His people to support me.

But God helped me to forgive those who abused me and to forgive myself.

But God helped my heart to heal from losing my best friend.

But God took us from foreclosure to having a house paid for in full.

But God took me from the ICU to life.

But God took me from the depths of suicide to wanting to do more for Him.

But God took us back to that same church family where we are loved and we love.

But God reminded me that I am His and am made for more.

Esther has been my Bible study the last few days and I feel much as if she did. I am here for a purpose. I am here “for such a time as this.” God made me for something special and without but God, I would not be here.

What has God brought you through? He is with you right now in the midst of your greatest struggle and loves you. Feel free to send prayer requests to me at jmrodg2@aol.com.

Be Blessed Today and Everyday!
